About

I'm a visual artist obsessed with optimism. Originally from California, now living in New York. This is a space where I think through and share notes on art, art worlds, transparency, positive psychology, and my process.

😜 Last Saturday I was panelist at Art | Basel Hong Kong (!), discussing #mentalhealth with fellow Mindscapes artists in residence Yuki Iiyama (Tokyo) and Indu Antony @induantony (Bangalore). We were joined by Cynthia Tongson (@albc55), sister of artist @WesleyTongson. The panel (slides 1-3) was moderated by Dr. Melissa Karmen Lee @cranlemon, CEO of Chinese Canadian Museum @ccmuseumbc.
🥰 Let’s reflect and share about belonging and joy in interactive projects at @berkeleyartcenter in my show/residency/gallery takeover/open space🌪️. I’m also launching a special set of zines April 8. 🤞🏽 Come by! 😃
✈️ Catch us before we fly away! Final week of Recognitions 认 • 知, my solo show at @ccaexhibitions made in collaboration with students at Lee Newcomer Elementary School. It’s the result of a yearlong social practice project, and features three new projects in plushies (the original soft sculpture 🧐), puzzles 🧩, and portraits.
