I had a really rewarding experience taking a woodworking class last summer. This year, I had fantastic private sewing lessons. It seems like taking one class per summer is going to be a good idea. These are not epic goals typical in the nature of a bucket list, but imagine the breadth of learning you’d enjoy over the course of a lifetime.
I’ve thought about improving lots of skills in the past, so I have plenty ideas to start a list of summer classes:
- welding
- kinetic sculpture
- lighting design (theatrical)
- light design (sculptural/electrical)
- French
- Fontographer
- baking yeast breads
- wood furniture
- framing
- garment construction
- swimming
